Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Principal Product Manager, AI Solutions
Within the broader Digital Informatics and Technology Solutions (DigITs) organization, the Product Management team oversees product strategy, execution, and adoption for large scale digital solutions that support MSK employees, clinicians, researchers, and health consumers. We empower our clinicians and patients with digital tools that support the best outcomes and we support our researchers in their efforts to forge new territory in precision oncology.
We are hiring for a Principal Product Manager, AI Solutions. We are looking for a candidate with a passion for enabling data-driven organizations at scale with a proven track record delivering data solutions in the AI/ML domain. This individual will be responsible for leading the entire lifecycle of AI-driven products, from conception and strategic planning to execution, launch, and optimization, as driven by needs from across the MSK organization. This role requires a unique blend of product management fundamentals with deep knowledge of AI technologies, data, and machine learning models.
Role Overview
Partner with business leaders to align AI product strategy with enterprise objectives, building shared vision, prioritization alignment, and actionable roadmaps.
Own the AI product lifecycle from ideation and validation through delivery, launch, adoption, and continuous improvement.
Translate strategic priorities into clear use cases, feature requirements, and executable delivery plans.
Establish measurable frameworks to evaluate business value, model performance, and product impact beyond traditional metrics.
Serve as the connective layer across data science, engineering, design, and business stakeholders to drive clarity and momentum.
Collaborate with AI engineers and data scientists to define requirements, validate feasibility, and optimize solution design.
Guide trade-off decisions across scope, timeline, and investment while maintaining delivery accountability.
Partner with engineering teams to design scalable data pipelines and support model evaluation and operational readiness.
Ensure responsible and ethical AI usage aligned with organizational governance standards and best practices.
Key Qualifications
7+ years of product management experience in data-driven or technology-enabled product environments.
Hands-on experience with Generative AI, large language models, and conversational AI platforms.
Strong working knowledge of machine learning concepts, data science practices, and AI development lifecycles.
Demonstrated experience defining success metrics and evaluating model and product performance.
Experience operating within healthcare or similarly regulated environments preferred.
